PRODUCT ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production engineering, and quality control principles.
- Experience in yield monitoring, process troubleshooting, and engineering support is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze production data and perform root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and production systems is preferred.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related software.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor on-line machine yield and production performance to ensure manufacturing targets are achieved.
- Analyze production data and identify trends affecting product yield and process efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve online system exceptions, equipment issues, and production abnormalities.
- Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve operational performance.
- Assist customers with engineering support, technical inquiries, product validation, and process improvements.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI), product qualification, and engineering change implementation.
- Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and process failures, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and process improvement recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase production yield, efficiency, and product quality.
- Perform other engineering duties assigned by management.
