Australian Skilled Migration is seeking an experienced Offset Printer Operator to join a professional printing and manufacturing team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting offset printing machines while ensuring high-quality printed materials, production efficiency, and compliance with workplace safety and quality standards.

OFFSET PRINTER OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year in college or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Offset Printer Operator.
• Experience in operating, setting up, and maintaining offset printing machines.
• Strong knowledge of printing processes, color matching, quality control, and machine troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate offset printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials according to production specifications.
• Set up printing presses, adjust machine settings, and prepare materials for production runs.
• Monitor printing operations to ensure accurate color registration, alignment, and print quality.
• Perform color matching and maintain consistency throughout production.
• Conduct routine machine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain production records, job documentation, and machine maintenance logs.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of printing materials, inks, and supplies.
• Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and production targets.

• Proficiency in offset printing machine operation and maintenance.
