SRACO International Contracting is seeking an experienced Piping / Plumbing Specialist to support Oil & Gas engineering construction and industrial projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty industrial fluid and gas piping systems while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.

Piping / Plumbing Specialist

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in industrial piping or plumbing systems.
• Proven experience in Oil & Gas engineering construction, refineries, petrochemical plants, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of industrial piping systems for fluid and gas applications.
• Skilled in pipe fabrication, welding coordination, threading, installation, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, P&IDs, isometric drawings, and engineering documents.
• Strong understanding of metal properties, corrosion prevention, and testing methods, including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
• Familiarity with international piping standards, pressure systems, and industrial safety regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, install, maintain, and repair heavy-duty industrial fluid and gas piping systems for refineries, petrochemical plants, oil and gas facilities, and industrial projects.
• Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Assemble, weld, thread, align, and install complex pipe networks, valves, flanges, fittings, supports, and related equipment.
• Select appropriate high-pressure piping materials and components based on system requirements and operating conditions.
• Perform pipe fabrication, installation, modification, and repair in accordance with approved engineering standards.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial piping systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Inspect piping systems for leaks, corrosion, wear, and structural integrity.
• Perform pressure testing, hydrostatic testing, leak testing, and support non-destructive testing (NDT) activities when required.
• Apply corrosion prevention techniques and ensure proper insulation and protective coatings.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, welders, and other project personnel during installation and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and work documentation.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental (HSE), and quality management procedures.
• Perform other piping and plumbing duties assigned by management.
