MECHANIC HEAVY DUTY (SPECIALIST IN HYDRAULIC)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Offshore platform fabrication experience is required.
- Strong English communication and comprehension skills.
- Extensive experience in maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and hydraulic systems.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical repair procedures.
- Familiarity with cranes, earthmoving machinery, pipeline equipment, and industrial heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards, PPE requirements, and HSE procedures.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within multicultural offshore teams
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and overhaul heavy equipment including cranes, earthmoving machinery, and pipeline equipment.
- Perform hydraulic system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Conduct mechanical and basic electrical repairs on heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and service documentation accurately.
- Test repaired equipment and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure proper performance.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness in compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare material and tool requirement lists for maintenance and repair activities.
- Report hazards, incidents, unsafe conditions, and equipment issues promptly.
- Follow PPE requirements and actively participate in Toolbox Talks, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with company HSE and quality standards.
