MECHANIC HEAVY DUTY (SPECIALIST IN HYDRAULIC)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Offshore platform fabrication experience is required.
• Strong English communication and comprehension skills.
• Extensive experience in maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and hydraulic systems.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical repair procedures.
• Familiarity with cranes, earthmoving machinery, pipeline equipment, and industrial heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards, PPE requirements, and HSE procedures.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within multicultural offshore teams

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and overhaul heavy equipment including cranes, earthmoving machinery, and pipeline equipment.
• Perform hydraulic system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Conduct mechanical and basic electrical repairs on heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and service documentation accurately.
• Test repaired equipment and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure proper performance.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness in compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare material and tool requirement lists for maintenance and repair activities.
• Report hazards, incidents, unsafe conditions, and equipment issues promptly.
• Follow PPE requirements and actively participate in Toolbox Talks, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with company HSE and quality standards.
