Maintenance Electrical Engineer
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree / College Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing plant or process industry maintenance.
- Experience designing, installing, testing, and commissioning electrical control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for inverters, AC drives, servo motors, soft starters, and PLCs.
- Knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical circuit design.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical distribution systems and power distribution calculations.
- Experience with generator maintenance and operation.
- Experience in AC and chiller maintenance.
- Knowledge of the maintenance and operation of factory utility equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical maintenance of manufacturing and production line equipment.
- Proficiency in professional software such as WinCC, WinCC Flexible, Starter, Step7, and MS Office.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and electrical engineering design software.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation, reporting, and technical records.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and engineering skills.
- Good understanding of HSE requirements, environmental factors, workplace hazards, and electrical safety.
- Ability to work effectively with maintenance, production, engineering, and operations teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability, safety, and quality.

Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance and engineering activities for manufacturing plant and process industry equipment.
- Upgrade electrical components and systems of production line equipment to improve reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Develop, modify, and install new electrical equipment and control systems as required.
- Design, install, test, and commission electrical control systems for plant machinery and production equipment.
- Complete assigned electrical design and engineering tasks within established schedules.
- Assist the department manager in electrical design, maintenance, improvement, and engineering activities.
- Manage and monitor the daily operation and maintenance of the factory’s electrical distribution room.
- Monitor high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems and ensure reliable power distribution.
- Design and review high-voltage and low-voltage electrical circuits according to project and operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial inverters, AC drives, servo motors, soft starters, and PLC systems.
- Diagnose electrical and control system faults and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Program, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based control systems as required.
- Use engineering and automation software such as WinCC, WinCC Flexible, Starter, and Step7 for system monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Use AutoCAD and other professional engineering software for electrical drawings and design work.
- Maintain and troubleshoot generators and associated electrical systems.
- Support generator operation, maintenance, and power distribution calculations.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of air-conditioning (AC) and chiller systems.
- Assist in the maintenance and operation of factory utility equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Inspect electrical equipment, control panels, wiring, motors, drives, and distribution systems for potential faults and safety concerns.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, technical documentation, drawings, and reports.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, engineering, and other departments to resolve equipment and electrical system issues.
- Follow approved maintenance procedures, technical specifications, and company engineering standards.
- Follow all HSE rules and requirements when performing electrical maintenance, design, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Identify and monitor department environmental factors, workplace hazards, and potential dangers.
- Ensure identified hazards are properly reported, controlled, and addressed.
- Communicate relevant HSE requirements, environmental factors, and potential hazards to department personnel.
- Assist in updating safety instructions and ensuring employees understand applicable HSE procedures.
- Perform other engineering, maintenance, design, troubleshooting, and technical duties assigned by management.
