Mandurah and South Western Glass Pty. Ltd is hiring experienced Landscapers for deployment in Australia. The company is seeking hardworking and reliable individuals who can maintain and improve outdoor spaces through professional landscaping, gardening, and grounds maintenance services.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong experience in landscaping, horticulture maintenance, and outdoor site upkeep.
LANDSCAPER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Landscaper or in related grounds maintenance work.
- Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- At least 1 year in college or vocational graduate may be waived from IELTS/PTE English test requirements.
- Familiarity with standard landscaping machinery and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of plant health, soil care, and seasonal maintenance practices.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow instructions.
- Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mowing, edging, and fertilizing of turf and lawn areas.
- Carry out weeding, mulching, pruning hedges, and trimming small trees.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees based on seasonal landscape plans and design requirements.
- Safely operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, weed trimmers, and chainsaws.
- Clear debris, remove dead plants, and maintain clean and well-presented outdoor areas.
- Maintain gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas in residential, commercial, or industrial sites.
- Monitor plant health and assist in basic soil care and fertilization activities.
- Follow instructions from the crew leader or supervisor to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Ensure proper care, storage, and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in irrigation and watering systems as required.
- Ensure client properties are left clean, tidy, and well-maintained after each visit.
