CONCRETE/PRECAST/MOULDING WORKER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a precast concrete manufacturing plant.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a production team after completing company training.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience operating an overhead crane with a valid certification is required.
- Forklift operating experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of precast concrete production processes, mold preparation, concrete pouring, finishing, and demolding.
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive manual work, lifting materials, and working in an industrial environment.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and workplace safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to producing quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare molds and forms for the production of precast concrete elements.
- Fill molds with reinforcement materials and concrete according to production specifications.
- Pour, compact, level, and finish concrete to achieve the required quality and dimensions.
- Remove finished concrete products from molds (demolding) using proper handling techniques.
- Clean, repair, and prepare molds and forms for the next production cycle.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle raw materials and finished concrete products while following workplace safety procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production instructions to ensure accurate manufacturing.
- Operate overhead cranes for lifting and moving concrete molds and finished products, where certified.
- Assist with forklift operations when qualified and authorized.
- Inspect finished concrete products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company health and safety regulations.
- Perform other production and manufacturing duties assigned by supervisors.
