Waiter Intern / Waitress Intern

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Basic English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Completed training or On-the-Job Training (OJT) in the Food and Beverage industry.
• Passion for customer service and the hospitality industry.
• Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willingness to learn hotel service standards and international hospitality practices.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, courteous, and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Assist in preparing dining areas by setting tables, arranging utensils, and ensuring cleanliness before and after service.
• Present menus, explain menu items, and answer guests’ questions regarding food and beverage offerings.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation and service standards are met.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond professionally to requests, concerns, or special requirements.
• Clear tables, reset dining areas, and maintain cleanliness in accordance with hotel hygiene standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Participate in training activities to develop hospitality, customer service, and food and beverage service skills.
• Perform other duties assigned by restaurant or hotel management.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
