Job Location: Kuwait
Massad Company WLL is seeking an experienced Barista with strong knowledge of the specialty coffee industry and manual brewing techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving quality hot and cold beverages, assisting with food preparation, operating coffee equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized café environment.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Hospitality/Tourism Management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the specialty coffee industry.
- Good knowledge and practical experience with manual coffee brewing equipment and techniques.
- Skilled in operating espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso extraction, and beverage presentation.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining beverage quality and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso-based drinks, blended coffees, and teas.
- Prepare and serve food items such as soups, sandwiches, pastries, and other café products.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, brewers, and other coffee equipment.
- Prepare specialty coffee using various manual brewing equipment and techniques.
- Maintain consistent beverage quality, taste, presentation, and portion standards.
- Assist customers with coffee selections and provide professional customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of countertops, workstations, equipment, and café seating areas.
- Clean and maintain coffee grinders, decanters, milk frothers, espresso machines, and other café equipment.
- Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Restock coffee, beverages, food ingredients, and other supplies as needed.
- Ensure the café and service areas remain clean, organized, and presentable.
- Follow company procedures and maintain high standards of customer service.
