Accurate Infrastructure Solutions Australia Pty. Ltd. is seeking skilled Cabinet Makers to design, manufacture, assemble, and install high-quality custom cabinetry, furniture, and interior wood fixtures for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in Australia. The successful candidate will combine craftsmanship with precision to produce finished products that meet client specifications and quality standards.
CABINET MAKER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar woodworking role.
- Graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate measuring, cutting, and material estimation.
- In-depth knowledge of different wood species, engineered wood products, laminates, veneers, and finishing materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Proficient in operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual work.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to plan and execute cabinet-making tasks.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble timber, plywood, laminates, and other materials with precision.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, including table saws, routers, planers, sanders, drills, and edge banders.
- Construct and assemble cabinets, wardrobes, shelving, countertops, furniture, and other custom wood products.
- Fit components together using dowels, screws, clamps, adhesives, and other fastening methods.
- Install completed cabinets, fixtures, and furniture at project sites while ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
- Sand surfaces and apply finishes such as paint, stain, varnish, lacquer, veneers, or laminates to achieve the required appearance.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, dimensions, and customer specifications.
- Maintain woodworking equipment and keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors.
