Grapecare Limited is seeking experienced Housekeepers to maintain guest rooms and hotel facilities to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. The role involves cleaning and preparing guest rooms, changing linens, maintaining common areas, handling laundry and cleaning equipment, reporting maintenance issues, and performing minor repairs where applicable. Applicants must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, depending on hotel occupancy.

HOUSEKEEPER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
• Male applicants: Experience in hotel room cleaning or housekeeping combined with building maintenance and minor-repair skills.
• Female applicants: Hotel housekeeping or room-cleaning experience required; laundry experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of housekeeping equipment.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and housekeeping tools.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Physically fit and capable of performing housekeeping duties.
• Reliable, hardworking, and responsible.
• Able to work independently and as part of a hotel housekeeping team.
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms and hotel facilities according to established standards.
• Make beds, change linens, towels, and other room supplies.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, and other room areas.
• Restock guest amenities and housekeeping supplies.
• Maintain corridors, common areas, and other hotel facilities to high hygiene standards.
• Handle used linens and laundry according to hotel procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and properly.
• Inspect rooms and facilities for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance concerns.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or other concerns to the appropriate department.
• Perform basic repairs and minor maintenance tasks when required and within the employee’s skills.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and work areas in clean and proper condition.
• Follow hotel health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous service to hotel guests when required.
• Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, based on hotel occupancy.
