Dentica Dental Center is seeking a qualified and experienced Dentist to join its dental care team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will diagnose common dental conditions, provide general dental treatments, perform dental procedures within the scope of practice, and ensure patients receive safe, professional, and quality dental care. The position requires a valid Philippine professional license, strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach.

DENTIST

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) holder.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Must have a valid Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Dentist License.
• Knowledgeable in general dentistry, dental diagnosis, dental procedures, and patient care.
• Demonstrated ability to perform routine dental procedures safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of dental hygiene, infection control, sterilization, and patient safety.
• Ability to use dental equipment, instruments, and clinical tools properly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-centered approach with professionalism, compassion, and respect for patients.
• Ability to explain dental conditions, procedures, treatment plans, and aftercare instructions clearly.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with dental assistants and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Examine patients and assess their overall oral and dental health.
• Diagnose common dental conditions and identify appropriate treatment options.
• Develop and recommend suitable treatment plans based on patients’ dental conditions and needs.
• Perform general dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, dental cleaning, and other routine treatments within the scope of practice.
• Conduct oral examinations and evaluate teeth, gums, and surrounding oral structures.
• Perform preventive dental procedures and provide appropriate oral health care.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment procedures, available options, and aftercare instructions to patients.
• Provide patients with guidance on proper oral hygiene, brushing, flossing, and preventive dental care.
• Administer local anesthesia when required and within professional scope and applicable regulations.
• Safely operate and properly maintain dental equipment, instruments, and clinical tools.
• Follow appropriate infection-control, sterilization, and dental safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records, treatment notes, diagnoses, and procedure documentation.
• Monitor patients during and after dental procedures and respond appropriately to complications or concerns.
• Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals when treatment is outside the scope of general dentistry.
• Coordinate with dental assistants and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
• Review dental histories, diagnostic information, and relevant patient records before treatment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dental treatment area.
• Follow clinic policies, professional standards, patient confidentiality requirements, and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Maintain professional and respectful relationships with patients, dental staff, and other healthcare personnel.
• Perform other professional dental duties assigned by the clinic or management.
