Saudia Aerospace Engineering Industries (SAEI) is seeking qualified and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to join its Base Maintenance Department in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will perform light and heavy aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, component removal and installation, and related maintenance activities on Airbus and Boeing aircraft while following approved maintenance procedures, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant aircraft maintenance work experience.
• Experience in handling and maintaining Airbus or Boeing aircraft.
• Experience in base maintenance and heavy maintenance is required.
• Proven experience performing light and heavy aircraft checks.
• Experience handling routine and non-routine task cards and proper aircraft maintenance documentation.
• Experience in aircraft airframe and engine maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair.
• Experience in aircraft engine removal and installation.
• Must have a valid CAAP License.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and technical documentation.
• Ability to accurately follow maintenance manuals, task cards, technical instructions, and approved procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to aircraft safety and reliability.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on aircraft maintenance work in a demanding maintenance environment.
• Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of an aircraft maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform aircraft maintenance activities within the Base Maintenance Department.
• Carry out light and heavy maintenance checks on customer aircraft.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft airframes and engines.
• Conduct minor and major maintenance checks on aircraft systems and components.
• Inspect aircraft systems, structures, components, and equipment to identify defects or maintenance requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and aircraft system problems using approved maintenance procedures and technical documentation.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure aircraft safety, reliability, and serviceability.
• Accomplish routine and non-routine task cards accurately and in accordance with approved procedures.
• Perform removal and installation of aircraft components and systems as required.
• Perform aircraft engine removal and installation activities according to approved maintenance procedures.
• Use appropriate aircraft maintenance tools, equipment, ground support equipment, and technical manuals.
• Verify completed maintenance work and ensure all required inspections and procedures have been properly accomplished.
• Record maintenance activities, findings, repairs, component changes, and inspection results accurately.
• Complete and maintain proper aircraft maintenance documentation and task card records.
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, mechanics, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel during maintenance activities.
• Follow approved aircraft maintenance manuals, technical instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable aviation regulations and approved standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe aircraft maintenance work area.
• Report aircraft defects, maintenance discrepancies, safety concerns, and other technical issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other aircraft maintenance duties assigned by management within the technician’s qualifications and authorization.
