Riyadh Air is seeking experienced and technically skilled Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Engineers for deployment to Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will perform, certify, troubleshoot, and supervise line maintenance operations, structural/mechanical inspections, and defect rectifications on commercial aircraft.

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Minimum of 7 years of working experience in line maintenance is required, including at least 3 years of direct experience on B787 and/or A320 aircraft.
• Candidates must possess a Diploma (3+ years) or Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Must hold a valid Aircraft Maintenance License: GACA A/P, FAA A/P, EASA B1, or equivalent.
• B787 GEnx Level 3 type rating is strictly required.
• Extensive experience in performing line maintenance, mechanical systems troubleshooting, airframe inspections, and engine defect rectifications.
• Strong knowledge of flight line safety protocols, airworthiness directives, aviation maintenance manuals (AMM), and structural repair procedures.
• Proficient in supervising maintenance technicians, managing site turnarounds, and certifying airworthiness safely and efficiently.
• Good analytical, technical problem-solving, and leadership skills to maintain high fleet dispatch reliability.
• Physically fit, safety-conscious, and capable of working in fast-paced line maintenance environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform, troubleshoot, and certify mechanical and airframe maintenance, system inspections, defect rectifications, and engine repairs.
• Conduct line maintenance operations, pre-flight checks, daily inspections, and transit checks on B787 and A320 aircraft.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and powerplant faults to ensure safe and timely flight departures.
• Inspect aircraft structures, systems, and engines to guarantee full compliance with airworthiness regulations and safety standards.
• Read, interpret, and follow technical manuals, wiring diagrams, engineering orders, and manufacturer schematics accurately.
• Support line maintenance operations by supervising technicians and managing technical resource allocation on the apron.
• Conduct post-maintenance functional testing, system calibrations, and operational performance checks.
• Ensure compliance with international aviation safety regulations, GACA/FAA/EASA standards, and company operating procedures.
• Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance control centers (MCC), and engineering teams regarding aircraft status and delays.
• Prepare technical logbook entries, maintenance release certificates, defect reports, and inspection documentation accurately.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
