Geri Partnership is seeking hardworking and physically fit General Farm Workers to join its agricultural operations in Canada. The successful candidates will assist with general farm activities, manual labor, crop and farm maintenance, and other agricultural tasks while following instructions, workplace safety procedures, and proper farm practices.

GENERAL FARM WORKER

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate.
• Previous farm or agricultural experience is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual, repetitive, and physically demanding tasks.
• Willing to work outdoors and in different weather conditions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when required.
• Able to follow instructions, workplace policies, and safety procedures.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Hardworking, reliable, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Able to work efficiently in a physically demanding agricultural environment.
• First-time applicants and applicants with previous overseas work experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with general farm operations and day-to-day agricultural activities.
• Perform manual farm work such as planting, cultivating, weeding, harvesting, sorting, and handling agricultural products.
• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and storing farm materials, tools, supplies, and harvested products.
• Maintain farm fields, work areas, equipment, tools, and facilities in clean and orderly condition.
• Assist with basic farm maintenance and repair tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Operate basic farm tools and equipment safely and properly after receiving appropriate instructions.
• Follow established procedures for handling crops, agricultural products, materials, and supplies.
• Assist with preparing fields, planting areas, and other work areas as required.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks efficiently and carefully.
• Follow supervisors’ instructions and complete assigned farm duties on schedule.
• Observe workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to help prevent accidents and injuries.
• Work cooperatively with other farm workers and supervisors to complete daily tasks.
• Assist with additional farm activities during peak seasons and periods of increased workload.
• Work outdoors and adapt to changing weather and farm conditions.
• Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, crop concerns, or other work-related issues to supervisors.
• Perform other general agricultural and farm duties as assigned by management.
