Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Proven experience in preparing and cooking fried food items in a restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of deep-frying techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to follow recipes, cooking procedures, and portion control standards.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook fried menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Operate deep fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Cook items such as french fries, chicken tenders, seafood, and other fried specialties to the required quality and consistency.
- Ensure all products are properly breaded, seasoned, and cooked to achieve the desired texture, flavor, and appearance.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is served at the correct temperature and quality.
- Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality before preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station and kitchen work areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
- Minimize food waste through proper preparation, storage, and portion control.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of orders.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify supervisors when replenishment is required.
- Support overall kitchen operations and maintain high culinary standards.
