Bitumat Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Electrical Technician (Maintenance) to support the maintenance and reliable operation of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in its manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot electrical faults, repair components, conduct inspections, and help ensure that production equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Electrical Technician (Maintenance)

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Previous experience as an Electrical Technician, Electrical Maintenance Technician, Industrial Electrician, or similar position is preferred.
• Practical experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and industrial equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills for electrical equipment and production machinery.
• Knowledge of electrical components, motors, control panels, wiring systems, switches, sensors, and related equipment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Basic knowledge of electrical testing, inspection, repair, and maintenance procedures.
• Good understanding of workplace electrical safety and safe maintenance practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel.
• Physically fit and capable of performing electrical maintenance duties in an industrial facility.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to equipment safety and performance.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during equipment breakdowns and urgent maintenance requirements.
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and willing to follow company procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Passport ready.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and industrial equipment.
• Inspect electrical equipment, control panels, wiring, motors, switches, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, equipment failures, and operational problems.
• Repair, replace, or adjust defective electrical components as required.
• Conduct routine electrical inspections and identify potential equipment problems before breakdowns occur.
• Test electrical circuits, components, and equipment to verify proper operation.
• Assist in the installation, modification, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Perform electrical maintenance on manufacturing and production machinery.
• Monitor the condition and performance of electrical equipment to maintain reliable operation.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and production equipment failures.
• Assist maintenance teams in identifying the root causes of recurring electrical problems.
• Follow electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical instructions when performing maintenance work.
• Ensure electrical repairs and maintenance activities are completed according to established technical standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment faults, and completed work.
• Coordinate with mechanical technicians, production operators, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel.
• Ensure electrical tools, testing equipment, and maintenance materials are properly handled and maintained.
• Follow proper electrical isolation, lockout/tagout, and safe working procedures when required.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of electrical work areas, tools, equipment, and maintenance facilities.
• Report major electrical faults, unsafe conditions, equipment damage, or required replacement parts to the supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining adequate stocks of electrical spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Support continuous improvement activities aimed at improving equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency.
• Perform other electrical maintenance and technical duties assigned by management.
