Bitumat Co. Ltd. is seeking an organized and reliable Maintenance Storekeeper (Maintenance Spare Parts) to manage the receipt, storage, inventory, and issuance of maintenance spare parts, tools, and materials in its manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will maintain accurate stock records, monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment, and ensure maintenance materials are properly organized and readily available to support plant maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Storekeeper, Spare Parts Storekeeper, Warehouse Storekeeper, Inventory Clerk, or similar position is preferred.
• Practical experience handling maintenance spare parts, tools, equipment, and industrial materials.
• Good understanding of inventory control, stock management, receiving, storage, and material issuance procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and conduct physical stock counts.
• Ability to identify, organize, label, and properly store different types of maintenance spare parts and materials.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when checking quantities, item descriptions, codes, and documentation.
• Ability to monitor minimum stock levels and coordinate replenishment requirements.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with maintenance, purchasing, warehouse, and production personnel.
• Basic computer and inventory-recording skills are an advantage.
• Knowledge of proper material handling, storage, housekeeping, and workplace safety procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, moving, and organizing maintenance materials as required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Reliable, hardworking, organized, and disciplined.
• Willing to follow company procedures and instructions from supervisors and management.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and properly document incoming maintenance spare parts, tools, equipment, and materials.
• Verify delivered items against purchase orders, delivery documents, specifications, and quantities.
• Properly label, identify, and store spare parts and maintenance materials in designated locations.
• Maintain an organized and easily accessible maintenance store or warehouse.
• Issue spare parts, tools, and materials to authorized maintenance personnel based on approved requests.
• Record all receipts, issues, returns, transfers, and adjustments accurately in inventory records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records for maintenance spare parts and materials.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and identify items that require replenishment.
• Coordinate with the maintenance and purchasing teams regarding spare-part requirements and replenishment.
• Prepare or support purchase requests for materials that have reached minimum stock levels.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile actual stock against inventory records.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged items, missing parts, or incorrect quantities.
• Ensure critical and fast-moving maintenance spare parts are readily available when required.
• Properly store electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other maintenance components according to their storage requirements.
• Ensure spare parts and materials are protected from damage, contamination, moisture, and deterioration.
• Monitor the condition and shelf life of applicable stored materials and components.
• Maintain proper storage practices for tools, consumables, lubricants, and other maintenance supplies.
• Organize spare parts according to item codes, categories, descriptions, locations, or other established inventory systems.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of inventory records, delivery documents, issue slips, and material requests.
• Support maintenance teams during planned shutdowns, equipment overhauls, and urgent breakdowns by providing required spare parts and materials.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisors and technicians to identify frequently used or critical spare parts.
• Assist in identifying obsolete, excess, slow-moving, or damaged inventory for appropriate action.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper housekeeping within the maintenance store.
• Follow company procedures concerning inventory control, material handling, workplace safety, and security.
• Perform other storekeeping and maintenance-support duties assigned by management.
