Bitumat Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Maintenance) to oversee electrical maintenance activities and support the reliable operation of industrial electrical systems and equipment in its manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance planning, equipment reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Electrical Engineer (Maintenance)

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field is preferred.
• Previous experience in industrial electrical maintenance, manufacturing, or production facilities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industrial motors, control panels, electrical distribution systems, wiring, sensors, and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Experience in maintenance planning, equipment reliability, inspections, and corrective action implementation.
• Ability to supervise and provide technical guidance to electrical maintenance personnel.
• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures, equipment isolation, work permits, and safe maintenance practices.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with maintenance, production, engineering, and other departments.
• Physically fit and capable of working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during equipment breakdowns and scheduled shutdowns.
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and committed to maintaining high safety and engineering standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate preventive and corrective electrical maintenance activities for industrial systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, control panels, motors, wiring, and related components to identify potential problems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, equipment failures, and operational issues.
• Supervise and support electrical repair, replacement, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Review equipment conditions and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure electrical maintenance work is performed according to approved procedures, technical specifications, and engineering standards.
• Monitor the performance and reliability of electrical equipment used in manufacturing and production operations.
• Coordinate with electrical technicians, mechanical technicians, production personnel, supervisors, and contractors.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians during troubleshooting, repair, and inspection activities.
• Review electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation when required.
• Assist in planning maintenance shutdowns, equipment overhauls, repairs, and major electrical maintenance activities.
• Investigate recurring electrical equipment failures and support root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Monitor maintenance work orders, equipment history, spare parts requirements, and maintenance records.
• Ensure appropriate electrical spare parts, tools, and testing equipment are available for maintenance activities.
• Support the installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Monitor compliance with electrical safety requirements, isolation procedures, work permits, and other workplace safety standards.
• Ensure maintenance personnel use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe working practices.
• Support continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing equipment reliability, energy efficiency, safety, and production performance.
• Prepare maintenance reports and provide updates on equipment condition, breakdowns, completed work, and outstanding issues.
• Coordinate with management and other departments regarding maintenance priorities and production requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of preventive maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
• Ensure electrical maintenance activities comply with applicable company quality, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Perform other electrical engineering and maintenance duties assigned by management.
