Universal Cold Store Company is seeking a qualified Carton Machine Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair carton manufacturing and packaging machinery used in production operations. The successful candidate will ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while minimizing downtime and maintaining company quality, safety, and operational standards.

Carton Machine Maintenance Technician

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar industrial maintenance role.
• Technical knowledge and practical experience related to industrial maintenance and equipment repair.
• Familiarity with industrial maintenance, poultry production, feed mills, hatcheries, processing plants, packaging facilities, or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical equipment, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and packaging machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, maintenance manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on carton manufacturing and packaging machines.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Maintain equipment such as carton forming machines, die-cutting machines, folding and gluing machines, carton sealing equipment, conveyors, labeling systems, and packaging lines.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment wear, damage, or potential failures before breakdowns occur.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and restore machinery to operational condition with minimal production downtime.
• Perform lubrication, alignment, calibration, cleaning, and adjustment of machinery according to maintenance schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, maintenance manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Assist in installing, commissioning, and testing new machinery and production equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with production personnel to minimize operational interruptions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair reports, spare parts inventory, and equipment service logs.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, preventive maintenance programs, company standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance workshops, tools, and equipment.
• Perform other maintenance duties assigned by management.
