Branch Manager
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience in spare parts, automotive, or wholesale/retail sales is highly desirable.
- Achievement of sales targets (retail and B2B)
- Accuracy and timeliness of cash handling and reporting
- Efficiency in inventory management and stock control.
- Staff performance, engagement, and retention.
- Expansion of business opportunities and customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Manage inventory systems, stock levels, and ordering processes.
- Prepare and analyze daily sales and inventory reports.
- Manage daily cash sales, banking, and reconciliations accurately
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate branch staff.
- Conduct staff performance monitoring, coaching, and development
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain a positive, professional work culture and high team morale.
- Monitor and drive daily sales targets for both retail and B2B customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients in the area.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, expanding the branch’s customer base.
- Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and branch performance.
- Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist management in branch-level decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Explore market opportunities to grow branch sales and profitability
- Assist in promotional and marketing activities for the branch.
- Support company expansion strategies within the branch’s service area.
- Proven experience in branch or operations management, preferably in spare parts, automotive, or FMCG industries.
- Strong knowledge of inventory and sales management systems
- Solid understanding of cash handling, banking, and financial reporting.
- Excellent team leadership and people management skills
