Al Rashed Foods Company Limited is seeking skilled and experienced Fleet Mechanics to join its maintenance team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of company fleet vehicles, including delivery trucks, vans, and service vehicles, ensuring safe and reliable operations at all times.
Fleet Mechanic
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Fleet Mechanic or in a similar automotive repair role.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field (or similar).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and engine systems in commercial fleet vehicles.
- Ability to diagnose and repair engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension, and other major vehicle systems.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and mechanical repair equipment.
- Experience in preventive maintenance of fleet or commercial vehicles is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency breakdown situations.
- Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on mechanical work.
- Willing to relocate and work in Saudi Arabia.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles such as delivery trucks, vans, and service vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Repair or replace defective components including engines, brakes, transmissions, tires, batteries, suspension systems, and other vehicle parts.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform on-site roadside repairs when required.
- Inspect vehicles to ensure safety, roadworthiness, and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts used.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and workshop areas are properly maintained and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures and company maintenance protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
