WASI Steel Industries Factory Co. is seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities for industrial equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and supporting safe and efficient factory operations.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a fabrication company or industrial manufacturing environment.
GCC work experience is an advantage. - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with industrial machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning, spare parts control, and maintenance tools management.
- Experience maintaining EOT cranes and heavy industrial equipment is preferred.
- Ability to maintain maintenance records, logs, and documentation according to ISO compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at industrial sites and heights when required.
- Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work in a demanding industrial environment.
- Willing to work in Saudi Arabia and adapt to workplace standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Monitor and manage required spare parts, tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and industrial machines.
- Conduct maintenance activities for Electrical Overhead Travelling (EOT) cranes and related equipment.
- Inspect machinery and identify potential issues to prevent equipment failures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and documentation in compliance with ISO standards.
- Analyze equipment problems and implement effective solutions to reduce downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and according to company procedures.
- Coordinate with production teams to support smooth manufacturing operations.
- Perform maintenance work at industrial sites, including elevated areas and heights when required.
- Follow workplace safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors.
