PRODUCTION MACHINE OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Production Machine Operator, Machine Operator, Manufacturing Operator, or similar position.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience operating production or manufacturing machinery, preferably in a food manufacturing or processing environment.
- Knowledge of machine setup, operation, routine inspection, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Ability to monitor machine performance and make basic operational adjustments.
- Understanding of quality control procedures and production standards.
- Familiarity with workplace safety, sanitation, and food hygiene regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify production defects and equipment issues.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and performing manual handling tasks.
- Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare production machines before the start of each production run.
- Operate production machinery according to standard operating procedures and production schedules.
- Feed raw materials into machines and monitor production processes to ensure continuous operation.
- Observe and control machine parameters such as speed, temperature, pressure, and material flow to maintain product quality.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications and company standards.
- Identify and report product defects, machine malfunctions, or process deviations to supervisors.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, inspections, lubrication, and minor preventive maintenance.
- Replace worn or damaged machine components when authorized or assist maintenance personnel during repairs.
- Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and quality inspection reports.
- Ensure raw materials and finished products are handled properly to minimize waste and contamination.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area and workstations.
- Assist in production changeovers and machine adjustments when required.
- Work closely with supervisors, quality assurance personnel, and maintenance teams to improve production efficiency.
- Perform other production-related duties assigned by management.
