Al Horany Automatic Gear is seeking skilled and experienced Automatic Transmission Specialists to join its automotive service team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining automatic transmission systems for various vehicle makes and models. Candidates must have strong technical expertise in transmission components and be capable of performing repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Automatic Transmission Specialist
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an Automatic Transmission Specialist or in a similar automotive transmission repair role.
- Must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Automotive Technology or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of automatic transmission systems, torque converters, valve bodies, and transmission control systems.
- Proven experience in dismantling, inspecting, repairing, assembling, and testing automatic transmissions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair procedures.
- Skilled in using transmission diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Willing to relocate and work in the United Arab Emirates.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot automatic transmission systems using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair, rebuild, assemble, and test automatic transmissions.
- Repair and service transmission components, including torque converters, valve bodies, gear assemblies, and transmission control systems.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair procedures to perform accurate repairs.
- Perform transmission overhauls and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Conduct road tests and functional testing to verify repairs and transmission performance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following workplace safety procedures.
- Prepare service reports and document repair work completed.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workshop operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
