Hotpack Arabia Industries is seeking an experienced Machine Operator (Dry Offset Cup Printing) to operate and maintain cup printing machinery in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for machine setup, production operation, quality inspection, troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate production records.
This position is suitable for candidates with strong hands-on experience in dry offset cup printing machines, particularly those familiar with POLYTYPE or VANDOM machines.
MACHINE OPERATOR (DRY OFFSET CUP PRINTING)
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cup printing machine operation.
- At least a high school graduate; a technical diploma or related qualification is an advantage.
- Previous experience operating dry offset cup printing machines is preferred.
- Experience with POLYTYPE or VANDOM machines is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of the dry offset cup printing process and production workflow.
- Knowledge of machine setup, calibration, operation, adjustment, and basic troubleshooting.
- Good attention to detail, particularly in identifying printing and product quality defects.
- Ability to use basic precision and measuring tools.
- Ability to maintain production records and follow quality control procedures.
- Willingness to follow workplace safety and health requirements.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Set up dry offset cup printing machines, including calibration, cleaning, machine preparation, and startup procedures.
- Operate cup printing machinery according to production instructions, specifications, and safety procedures.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain consistent printing quality and production efficiency.
- Prepare, plan, and feed raw materials into the machine as required during production.
- Monitor machine performance and conduct periodic operational checks.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine or production issues that may occur during the shift.
- Perform quality inspections using appropriate precision and measuring tools.
- Inspect printed cups and finished products on the production line for defects and quality non-conformities.
- Separate defective products and maintain records of approved and rejected units.
- Maintain accurate production reports, machine activity logs, quality records, and other required documentation.
- Report production, quality, equipment, or safety issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Follow established quality control procedures and manufacturing standards.
- Clean machines regularly and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company policies and applicable occupational health and safety regulations.
- Perform other machine operation and production-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
