Al Fanar Company is seeking skilled and experienced Furniture Carpenters to support office maintenance operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and assembling office furniture and fixtures while ensuring they remain safe, functional, and compliant with workplace safety standards. Candidates should have strong carpentry skills and experience in furniture maintenance within corporate or commercial environments.
Furniture Carpenter
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as a Furniture Carpenter or in a similar furniture maintenance role.
- Must be at least a High School Graduate.
- Previous experience in furniture maintenance, carpentry, or office maintenance within companies or organizations is required.
- Strong knowledge of furniture repair, carpentry techniques, and maintenance of office fixtures.
- Hands-on experience in repairing, assembling, and maintaining office furniture.
- Ability to diagnose furniture defects and carry out effective repairs.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks and lifting furniture when required.
- Willing to relocate and work in Saudi Arabia.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair office furniture, including desks, chairs, cabinets, partitions, shelves, and other fixtures.
- Handle minor carpentry work and repair office furniture and fittings as required.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from office staff.
- Diagnose and repair furniture damage, wear and tear, structural defects, and assembly issues.
- Assemble, install, disassemble, and reconfigure office furniture and workstations.
- Assist with office setup, relocation, and workspace reconfiguration projects.
- Ensure all repaired and installed furniture is safe, stable, and meets workplace safety standards.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and materials used.
- Coordinate with vendors or suppliers to obtain spare parts or replacement materials when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by management.
