RIGGER I (MANAGER, SUPERINTENDENT, SUPERVISOR, ENGINEER)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Oil & Gas construction projects and GCC countries.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Knowledge of safe lifting and rigging procedures, equipment inspection, and load handling techniques.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding site work.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform rigging activities for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy equipment, materials, and structural components.
• Inspect lifting gear, slings, shackles, hooks, wire ropes, and other rigging equipment before use to ensure they are safe and serviceable.
• Attach, secure, and balance loads according to approved lifting plans and established rigging procedures.
• Communicate effectively with crane operators and lifting supervisors using standard hand signals and communication devices.
• Assist in planning lifting activities by identifying load weights, center of gravity, and appropriate rigging methods.
• Maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry standards.
• Report defective lifting equipment, unsafe conditions, or incidents to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain rigging equipment and ensure proper storage after use.
• Coordinate with site personnel to complete lifting operations safely and efficiently.
