BS-IMEX is seeking qualified and experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to work in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will operate heavy construction machinery such as excavators, wheel loaders, rollers, and bulldozers for digging, demolition, grading, leveling, and other construction activities. The role requires strong equipment-handling skills, good manual dexterity, a valid heavy equipment license, and strict compliance with construction site safety regulations.
Heavy Equipment Operator
Qualifications:
- Male, 25–42 years old.
- High school or vocational graduate.
- Must have an NC II certificate and/or In-House Training Certificate relevant to heavy equipment operation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
- Proven experience operating excavators, wheel loaders, rollers, or bulldozers.
- Heavy Equipment Operator License is required.
- Able to perform tasks such as digging, demolition, grading, and terrain leveling.
- Knowledge of basic machine maintenance and daily equipment inspection.
- Good manual dexterity and strong equipment-handling skills.
- Physically fit and willing to perform heavy-duty construction work.
- Able to work outdoors and in demanding construction site conditions.
- Strong awareness of construction hazards and equipment safety.
- Willing to follow safety regulations, site procedures, and supervisor instructions.
- Responsible, disciplined, reliable, and safety-conscious.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with construction workers, supervisors, and other equipment operators.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy construction equipment including excavators, wheel loaders, rollers, and bulldozers.
- Perform excavation, digging, trenching, loading, grading, demolition, backfilling, and terrain-leveling activities.
- Operate machinery according to project requirements, work plans, and supervisor instructions.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to check the condition and safety of heavy equipment.
- Check engine oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, fuel, tires or tracks, brakes, lights, controls, and other critical components before operation.
- Perform basic daily maintenance and routine checks on assigned machinery.
- Report mechanical problems, equipment damage, unusual noises, leaks, or other defects to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Operate equipment carefully to prevent damage to machinery, structures, utilities, materials, and surrounding areas.
- Accurately position and maneuver equipment when working in confined or challenging construction areas.
- Assist with site preparation, earthmoving, material handling, roadwork, and other construction activities as assigned.
- Perform digging and excavation work according to required depths, dimensions, and site specifications.
- Conduct demolition activities safely using appropriate heavy equipment and attachments.
- Level and grade soil, gravel, earth, and other materials according to project requirements.
- Load and move soil, debris, construction materials, and other materials using appropriate equipment.
- Follow established equipment operating procedures and manufacturer’s instructions.
- Maintain awareness of workers, vehicles, structures, utilities, and other hazards around operating equipment.
- Follow all construction site safety rules, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in site safety briefings as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized equipment area and properly park and secure machinery after use.
- Perform other heavy equipment operation, site preparation, and related duties assigned by management.
