B Notch Furniture Factory is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced In-Process Quality Control Officer to monitor quality during woodworking and furniture manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will inspect materials, components, and work in progress to ensure that furniture products meet approved drawings, measurements, specifications, and quality standards.
IN PROCESS QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only, as specified in the vacancy.
- Must be 24–37 years old.
- Must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the same or a related field.
- Must have experience in woodworking and furniture manufacturing.
- Must be knowledgeable in carpentry techniques, wood materials, and furniture assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications is an advantage.
- Familiarity with woodworking tools, equipment, and furniture production processes is required.
- Must be detail-oriented and capable of identifying defects and quality issues.
- Must be physically fit for the required duties, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process quality inspections throughout woodworking and furniture production.
- Inspect raw materials, wooden components, furniture parts, and assemblies for defects or inconsistencies.
- Verify measurements, dimensions, alignment, and assembly accuracy against technical drawings and specifications.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with established quality requirements.
- Identify, document, and report defective materials, workmanship issues, and production deviations.
- Coordinate with production supervisors and workshop personnel to resolve quality problems.
- Recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring defects and improve product quality.
- Check the quality of carpentry, furniture assembly, finishing, and other woodworking operations.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, and documentation.
- Ensure that inspection activities follow company quality procedures and workplace safety requirements.
