Marble Tile Setter

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Marble Tile Setter, either local or abroad.
• Age limit: Up to 56 years old.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, fitting, leveling, and installing marble and various types of tiles.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, adhesives, mortar, grouting, and tile-setting techniques.
• Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings, layouts, and measurements.
• Skilled in using tile cutters, grinders, drills, levels, and other tile-setting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to produce clean, accurate, and professional marble and tile finishes.
• Physically fit and capable of performing construction and finishing work for extended periods.
• Ability to work safely in a construction environment and follow site rules and instructions.
• Reliable, hardworking, disciplined, and able to work effectively as part of a construction team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare walls, floors, and other surfaces for marble and tile installation.
• Measure and mark surfaces to establish accurate layouts, levels, lines, and patterns.
• Read and follow construction drawings, layouts, measurements, and project specifications.
• Cut, shape, drill, and fit marble and tiles according to required dimensions.
• Install marble slabs, marble tiles, ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, and other related materials.
• Apply appropriate adhesives, mortar, grout, and other installation materials.
• Ensure proper alignment, spacing, leveling, and positioning of marble and tiles.
• Install tiles and marble around corners, columns, openings, fixtures, and other architectural features.
• Install borders, trims, skirting, and other decorative tile and marble finishes.
• Perform accurate cutting and fitting to achieve clean and professional finishes.
• Check installed marble and tiles for cracks, uneven surfaces, improper alignment, and other defects.
• Remove and replace damaged or improperly installed materials when necessary.
• Apply grout and perform final cleaning and finishing of completed surfaces.
• Protect completed marble and tile work from damage during construction.
• Properly handle, transport, and store marble, tiles, adhesives, tools, and other materials.
• Operate tile cutters, grinders, drills, levels, measuring tools, and other equipment safely.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers to ensure smooth project progress.
• Follow project schedules and complete assigned work within required timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow construction safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Minimize material waste through accurate measurement, cutting, and proper handling.
• Report material requirements, work progress, and technical or installation issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other marble, tile-setting, and finishing duties assigned by management.
