Mason / Tile Setter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Mason, Tile Setter, Plasterer, or in a similar position.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or a similar field.
• Knowledgeable in tile cutting, installation, finishing, and surface preparation.
• Skilled in masonry, plastering, concrete finishing, and decorative surface applications.
• Good attention to detail and ability to produce quality finishing work.
• Good communication skills.
• Must have a valid passport and complete required travel documents.
• Willing to work overtime (OT).
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform masonry, tile-setting, plastering, and related finishing works.
• Install, cut, align, and finish tiles according to project specifications and required patterns.
• Cut tiles accurately using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Perform final finishing and enhancement of tiles, bricks, ceramics, cabinets, and other surfaces.
• Ensure finished surfaces are smooth, level, properly aligned, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Prepare concrete surfaces for subsequent finishes such as staining, polishing, coloring, and other treatments.
• Apply decorative concrete finishes, including stamping, coloring, and polishing.
• Repair, patch, and finish surfaces to achieve the required quality and appearance.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper alignment, smoothness, cleanliness, and overall quality.
• Maintain tools and equipment and observe proper workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
