Auto Glazier / Tinter
As an Auto Glazier (Tinter), you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing automotive glass and applying quality window tint films. Your role ensures vehicles meet safety standards, provide clear visibility, and deliver a professional finish that enhances both function and appearance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in turbocharger servicing, overhaul, and reconditioning within diesel, industrial, marine, or heavy equipment environments.
- Strong machining experience with precision rotating equipment, including shaft inspection, tolerances, balancing, and component measurement to OEM specifications.
- Proven capability in turbocharger disassembly, fault diagnosis, mechanical assembly, and dynamic balancing of rotating components.
- Skilled in using workshop machinery, precision measuring instruments, and balancing equipment with a strong focus on workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely and independently in a fast-paced workshop environment while maintaining high-quality standards and turnaround times.
Responsibilities:
- Remove and install windscreens, side, and rear glass on a variety of vehicles
- Apply automotive window tint films with precision, ensuring no bubbles, creases, or dust
- Assess and repair minor chips and cracks to prevent further damage
- Use appropriate tools and adhesives to securely fit glass to manufacturer standards
- Cut, shape, and prepare glass or film to fit specific vehicle makes and models
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following workplace health and safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients and team members
