Pacific Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design, installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and operation of electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate should have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical engineering and be capable of performing assigned duties safely and efficiently.
This Electrical Engineer job in Fiji is suitable for qualified electrical engineering professionals with 3 to 10 years of relevant experience and strong hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
Electrical Engineer
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Minimum 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in the position being applied for.
- Relevant technical knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems is an advantage where applicable.
- Physically fit and capable of performing occasional heavy lifting.
- Ability to perform assigned duties safely and efficiently.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design, install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults and perform appropriate troubleshooting and repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Assist with electrical installation, commissioning, and testing activities.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, plans, and technical specifications.
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify electrical problems and recommend effective technical solutions.
- Perform testing and measurements using appropriate electrical testing equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, testing, and repair activities.
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, contractors, and other site personnel.
- Follow company procedures, electrical standards, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Perform assigned duties safely, efficiently, and according to required quality standards.
