Pacific Technologies is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer / Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of instrumentation, control, and electrical systems.

This Instrumentation & Controls Engineer / Technician job in Fiji is suitable for qualified technical professionals with 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in instrumentation, controls, or electrical engineering.

Candidates with strong hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, installation, and control systems are encouraged to apply.

Instrumentation & Controls Engineer / Technician

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in the position being applied for.
• Relevant technical knowledge and hands-on experience in instrumentation, controls, or electrical engineering, depending on the position.
• Physically fit and capable of performing occasional heavy lifting.
• Ability to perform assigned duties safely and efficiently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems.
• Diagnose faults in electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
• Perform testing, calibration, and adjustment of instruments and control devices.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical, instrumentation, control, and technical drawings.
• Ensure equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Identify technical issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Follow approved maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, supervisors, and other site personnel.
• Perform assigned duties safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
