ACCESS EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN (JLG / GENIE SKYJACK)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the same field is required.
• Must have at least 1 year of college or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
• Strong experience in access equipment or related heavy equipment maintenance.
• Experience with JLG, Genie, or Skyjack equipment is highly relevant.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Ability to use mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments.
• Strong attention to equipment safety and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, service, maintain, and repair access equipment and aerial work platforms.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and operational faults in access equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine appropriate repair requirements.
• Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective components.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical adjustments as required.
• Service and maintain JLG, Genie, and Skyjack access equipment.
• Inspect equipment before and after maintenance or repair work.
• Conduct operational and safety checks to ensure equipment is ready for use.
• Use appropriate diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and workshop tools.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate service, repair, inspection, and maintenance records.
• Identify potential equipment safety issues and report them promptly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and serviceable condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Perform other access equipment maintenance duties as assigned.
