Grapecare Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented 3D/CMM Inspector & Group Coordinator to join its manufacturing team in the Czech Republic. The successful candidate will perform independent dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using Wenzel 3D Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and standard precision measuring instruments. The role also involves interpreting technical drawings and inspection documents, identifying non-conforming production, maintaining accurate inspection records, and professionally coordinating a group of Filipino operators.

3D/CMM Inspector & Group Coordinator

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Must be at least a High School Graduate.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a 3D CMM Inspector, with hands-on experience using Wenzel 3D CMM and standard measuring tools.
• Able to operate and perform dimensional inspections using 3D coordinate measuring machines.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and inspection documentation.
• Knowledgeable in geometric tolerances, datums, and part setup procedures.
• Proficient in using standard measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, height gauges, dial indicators, thread gauges, and limit gauges.
• Able to accurately record, analyze, and manage technical data regarding inspection outcomes.
• Able to identify and report non-conforming production and dimensional deviations.
• Able to lead and coordinate a group of Filipino operators professionally and effectively.
• Conversational English communication skills required.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Good organizational, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Crane Operator and Rigger qualification required.
• Physically fit and capable of handling production-related tasks as needed.
• Able to follow technical instructions, quality standards, workplace procedures, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform independent dimensional inspection of manufactured parts using Wenzel 3D Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Set up parts correctly on the CMM according to established inspection and measurement procedures.
• Operate and monitor Wenzel 3D CMM equipment to obtain accurate dimensional measurements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, inspection documents, and measurement requirements.
• Apply knowledge of geometric tolerances, datums, reference points, and part setup systems during inspection.
• Perform measurements using standard precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, height gauges, and dial indicators.
• Use thread gauges, limit gauges, and other inspection tools to verify part dimensions and specifications.
• Compare measurement results against approved drawings, tolerances, and quality requirements.
• Assess inspection results and identify defective, non-conforming, or out-of-specification production.
• Document and report measurement results, inspection findings, and non-conformities accurately.
• Maintain organized technical data and records relating to inspection outcomes and product quality.
• Coordinate with production personnel and supervisors regarding dimensional deviations and quality concerns.
• Assist in identifying possible causes of dimensional defects and support corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection equipment and measuring instruments are handled properly and maintained in good working condition.
• Perform routine checks of measuring equipment and report any suspected equipment or measurement issues.
• Coordinate and professionally lead a group of Filipino operators to ensure smooth and efficient production activities.
• Provide clear work instructions and coordinate daily tasks among assigned operators.
• Monitor operator compliance with production, quality, safety, and workplace procedures.
• Communicate production and inspection concerns to supervisors and relevant technical personnel.
• Assist with production-related tasks when required, including safe handling and movement of materials.
• Coordinate with other departments to support production schedules and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection and production work area.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment.
• Perform other inspection, coordination, and production-related duties assigned by management.
