PUMP MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Strong hands-on mechanical experience with pumps.
- Good knowledge of electrical pump controls and control panels.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and basic electrical/control schematics.
- Ability to use basic electrical and mechanical testing instruments.
- Experience in pump installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently at customer and project sites.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on water pumps and pumping systems.
- Inspect centrifugal, booster, transfer, submersible, sewage, and other water pumps.
- Inspect and maintain pump bearings, mechanical seals, couplings, shafts, impellers, and wear components.
- Inspect and troubleshoot pump electrical connections and control panels.
- Perform operational testing after maintenance or repair.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control-related pump failures.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
