TRUCK DRIVER

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid international driving license with Category C and CE qualifications.
• Proven experience in truck driving, freight transportation, or logistics operations.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations, traffic laws, and vehicle operation procedures.
• Basic IT skills for using digital devices, transport management systems, GPS navigation, and electronic documentation.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and identify basic mechanical issues.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
• Physically fit and capable of handling loading and unloading tasks when required.

Responsibilities:

• Operate trucks safely and efficiently to transport goods, materials, and cargo to designated destinations.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
• Verify cargo documentation and ensure loads are properly secured before transport.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules, routes, and transport instructions.
• Comply with all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company operating procedures.
• Monitor vehicle performance and report mechanical issues, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery records, mileage reports, and transport documentation.
• Utilize GPS navigation systems and electronic transport management tools as required.
• Ensure the safe handling, loading, and unloading of cargo when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, customers, and logistics personnel regarding deliveries and transport status.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicles.
• Adhere to company safety policies and ensure the secure transportation of goods at all times.
• Provide professional and courteous service while representing the company during deliveries and transport operations.
