STEEL FIXER

Qualifications:

• Age requirement: 25 to 49 years old.
• Open to first-time applicants and ex-abroad workers.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in oil and gas construction projects.
• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in construction, industrial, or oil and gas environments.
• Ability to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Knowledge of steel reinforcement installation techniques and construction safety practices.
• Skilled in the use of steel fixing hand tools and equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding construction work.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction drawings, reinforcement schedules, and project specifications.
• Cut, bend, and prepare reinforcing steel bars according to approved plans.
• Position, assemble, and secure steel reinforcement for foundations, columns, beams, walls, slabs, and other concrete structures.
• Install reinforcing mesh, spacers, and supports to maintain correct reinforcement placement.
• Ensure reinforcement work meets engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect reinforcement installations before concrete pouring and make necessary adjustments.
• Safely use steel fixing tools, cutting equipment, and bending machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following company safety procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other construction personnel to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Perform other steel fixing duties as assigned by the employer.
