Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Valid or eligible Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Classification and Registration.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience.
- 3 years of experience is preferred for specialized units.
- Recent clinical experience in the relevant nursing specialty.
- Experience in the applicable specialty such as ICU/CCU, PICU, NICU, ER, Medical-Surgical, Pediatric, Labor & Delivery, OR, PACU, Dialysis,
- Oncology, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, or other listed areas is preferred depending on the position.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Strong teamwork, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, and professional nursing standards.
- Reliable, compassionate, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients according to their medical condition, treatment plan, and assigned specialty.
- Assess patients’ health conditions and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in clinical status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed and according to hospital policies.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, treatments, surgeries, and other medical interventions.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor patients’ responses to treatment and promptly report significant changes in condition to the physician or senior nurse.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, patient charts, medication records, and clinical reports.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment.
- Provide appropriate patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, procedures, and health management.
- Maintain patient safety and ensure proper identification, monitoring, and implementation of safety protocols.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies and changes in patients’ conditions.
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and other hospital departments.
- Perform proper medication checks and maintain safe medication administration practices.
- Maintain and prepare nursing equipment and supplies required for patient care.
- Follow hospital policies, clinical guidelines, nursing standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and professional standards at all times.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as required.
- Participate in clinical handovers and communicate relevant patient information accurately to the incoming nursing team.
- Support quality improvement, patient safety, infection control, and other hospital programs.
- Perform other nursing duties appropriate to the assigned specialty as directed by the nursing supervisor or management.
