Grapecare Limited is seeking skilled and experienced Finishing Masons / Plasterers to work in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing plaster and render mixtures, applying multi-layer and thin-layer renders, carrying out thermal insulation and damp and frost protection works, installing guide rails, and completing smooth and high-quality finishes on rendered building surfaces.

FINISHING MASON / PLASTERER

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Finishing Mason / Plasterer.
• Applicants must be able to provide work photos and videos of previous projects as evidence of relevant experience.
• Proven practical skills in plastering, rendering, surface preparation, and final finishing.
• Experience applying multi-layer and thin-layer renders to building surfaces.
• Knowledge of thermal insulation and protection against dampness and frost.
• Ability to accurately set out and fit guide rails for plastering and rendering works.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce smooth, level, and high-quality finishes.
• Ability to use common masonry, plastering, and construction tools safely and effectively.
• Having a driver’s license is an advantage.
• Having scaffolding expertise is an advantage.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform demanding construction work.
• Reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a construction team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare plaster, render, mortar, and other finishing mixtures according to project specifications.
• Apply multi-layer and thin-layer renders to interior and exterior building surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces before plastering and rendering to ensure proper adhesion and finishing.
• Set out and install guide rails accurately before applying render.
• Apply plaster and render evenly to achieve the required thickness and finish.
• Level, smooth, and finish rendered surfaces using appropriate hand tools and techniques.
• Complete final finishing of plastered and rendered surfaces to meet required quality standards.
• Carry out thermal insulation works on building surfaces.
• Install and apply appropriate materials for protection against dampness and frost.
• Repair cracks, uneven surfaces, damaged plaster, and other defects before final finishing.
• Measure and prepare materials according to project requirements to minimize waste.
• Read and follow construction drawings, specifications, and work instructions where required.
• Use trowels, floats, levels, mixers, scaffolding, and other masonry and plastering tools safely and correctly.
• Inspect completed plastering and rendering work to ensure surfaces are smooth, level, and properly finished.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas throughout construction activities.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and proper handling of construction materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with other construction workers and trades to ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Report material requirements, construction issues, and defects to the supervisor.
• Perform other finishing masonry, plastering, insulation, and related construction duties as assigned.
