Grapecare Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Setter – Rebar Bending Machines) to set, maintain, inspect, and repair machines and production equipment used in reinforcing steel and manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate should have hands-on experience with rebar bending machines, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot production equipment and support continuous improvement initiatives.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (SETTER-REBAR BENDING MACHINES)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Hands-on experience setting and maintaining rebar bending machines.,
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems, Pneumatic systems, Hydraulic systems, Industrial machine maintenance, Equipment troubleshooting and repair
• Experience with injection molds and related production equipment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
• Ability to diagnose and independently resolve production equipment problems.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Willingness and ability to mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Forklift (VZV) license is an advantage.
• Welding certificate is an advantage.
• Overhead Crane license is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust rebar bending machines according to production requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on reinforcing steel bending equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect production machines and equipment to identify faults and potential problems.
• Maintain, service, and repair injection molds and related equipment.
• Inspect and service production lines to ensure reliable operation.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production and equipment issues.
• Minimize machine downtime through timely troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Contribute to the optimization and improvement of the overall production process.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve required production specifications and quality standards.
• Use technical drawings and relevant design software when required.
• Support installation, modification, and improvement of production equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure machines and equipment are operated safely and efficiently.
• Mentor and guide less experienced maintenance and production colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
