WAREHOUSE OPERATOR-MATERIAL HANDLER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants aged 25 to 45 years old.
• At least two (2) years of relevant warehouse or material-handling experience, preferably in aluminum and metal structure manufacturing.
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate forklifts for moving, loading, unloading, and storing materials and products.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and warehouse tools, including barcode scanners.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock monitoring, and warehouse documentation.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, material specifications, and job instructions.
• Vocational certificate or relevant technical qualification is an advantage.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when identifying, checking, storing, picking, and recording materials.
• Ability to organize work, prioritize assigned tasks, and follow designated storage locations and warehouse procedures.
• Responsible handling of materials, products, forklifts, and other assigned equipment.
• Willingness to comply with workplace safety rules and operational procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently to move materials, products, and supplies within the warehouse and production areas.
• Load, unload, transport, and store aluminum materials, metal components, and other products in their designated locations.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, descriptions, and condition against delivery documents and warehouse records.
• Pick and prepare materials according to production requirements, job instructions, and material requests.
• Use barcode scanners and warehouse management systems to record, locate, track, and confirm material movements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and document all warehouse transactions, including receiving, issuing, transferring, and storing materials.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and discrepancies in inventory records.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, material labels, and job instructions to ensure the correct materials are handled and supplied.
• Ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, arranged, and stored according to warehouse procedures.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse, including designated storage areas and workspaces.
• Conduct routine checks of forklifts and other assigned equipment and report defects or maintenance requirements.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and ensure the safe handling and storage of materials and products.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel, production staff, and supervisors to ensure timely delivery of materials to the required work areas.
• Perform other related warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
