STAFF NURSE

Preferred Clinical Areas:

  • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
  • General Ward
  • Emergency Room (ER)
  • Operating Room (OR)
  • Labor and Delivery (L&D)
  • Other relevant specialty areas

Qualifications:

  • Newly assigned bedside nurses are welcome to apply.
  • Preferably with experience in Medical-Surgical, ICU, CCU, or General Ward nursing.
  • Candidates with experience in specialty areas such as ER, OR, L&D, and other clinical units may also be considered.
  • Must have experience working in a secondary or tertiary hospital.
  • Strong clinical assessment, patient-care, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and manage multiple patient-care responsibilities.
  • Strong commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, and professional nursing standards.
  • Reliable, compassionate, responsible, and committed to delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care according to established clinical standards.
  • Assess patients’ conditions, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Develop and implement appropriate nursing care plans based on patient needs.
  • Monitor patients’ responses to treatments and promptly report significant changes to physicians or senior nursing staff.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, nursing notes, medication records, and other required documentation.
  • Participate in patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and handover procedures.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, procedures, and health management.
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain a safe and sanitary patient-care environment.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and other hospital departments.
  • Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and safety at all times.
  • Properly operate and maintain nursing equipment and ensure necessary supplies are available.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical care initiatives.
  • Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, and applicable healthcare standards.
  • Perform other nursing duties appropriate to the assigned unit or specialty.
