CNC Machinist
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 5 years of relevant working experience in the metal production industry.
- Must be able to operate, adjust, troubleshoot, and service machines relevant to the position being applied for.
- Strong knowledge of metal production processes, machine operation, and precision manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
- Familiarity with machine setup, tooling, measurement instruments, quality inspection, and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to identify and resolve basic machine and production problems.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and proper machine-handling practices.
- For Press Brake Programmer/Operator applicants, strong experience and practical skills in press brake programming and machine operation are required.
- Ability to work accurately, independently, and efficiently in a metal manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines and other relevant metal production equipment according to production requirements and technical specifications.
- Set up machines, adjust operating parameters, and select appropriate tools to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, measurements, and production instructions.
- Monitor machining operations to maintain dimensional accuracy, product quality, and production efficiency.
- Inspect finished metal components using appropriate measuring instruments and quality-control procedures.
- Identify machine malfunctions, production errors, and machining defects, and perform troubleshooting as required.
- Carry out routine machine servicing and maintenance to keep equipment in good working condition.
- Adjust machine settings and correct operational issues to minimize downtime and production waste.
- Follow production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure the safe handling of tools, materials, and equipment.
- For applicants specializing in press brake operations, program and operate press brake machines, adjust bending parameters, and ensure accurate metal forming according to technical drawings.
