Aureol Global Connections is seeking experienced Solar Roofers for placement in Ireland. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing mounting systems for residential and commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems while ensuring roof integrity, weatherproofing, and compliance with safety standards.

Working closely with electrical and installation teams, the Solar Roofer will help deliver high-quality renewable energy projects safely and efficiently.

SOLAR ROOFER

Qualifications:

  • Previous roofing experience is essential.
  • Experience working on slate and tile roofs.
  • Experience installing Solar PV systems is desirable; training may be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Good understanding of roof construction and weatherproofing techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and installation plans.
  • Strong awareness of workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Competent in using hand and power tools.
  • Holder of a full clean driving license.

Responsibilities:

  • Install roof mounting systems for residential and commercial solar PV installations.
  • Carry out roofing work on slate and tile roofs while maintaining roof integrity and weatherproofing.
  • Read and interpret installation drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare roofs for solar panel installation and ensure all work meets quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with electricians and installation teams to complete projects on schedule.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, particularly when working at heights.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
