Jabil Circuit Sdn. is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead production planning activities, optimize material utilization, support on-time customer delivery, and monitor overall planning performance. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams while managing production plans and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

SENIOR PLANNER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of related experience, OR
• Master’s Degree with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Strong experience in production planning, material planning, demand planning, or supply chain operations.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of production planning, material requirements, capacity planning, and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams.
• Ability to monitor KPIs, analyze production data, and identify planning risks.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Leadership, mentoring, and team-development skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage production plans based on customer demand, material availability, and production capacity.
• Coordinate demand, material, and capacity planning to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Ensure production schedules support on-time customer delivery.
• Optimize inventory levels and material utilization while minimizing shortages and excess inventory.
• Lead production planning activities for assigned workcells.
• Monitor production schedules and identify potential delays, material shortages, capacity constraints, and other risks.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and other relevant departments to resolve planning issues.
• Monitor planning KPIs and analyze performance against established targets.
• Track revenue forecasts and production requirements.
• Identify production risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
• Review material availability and coordinate with purchasing and supply chain teams when shortages arise.
• Adjust production plans when demand, material availability, capacity, or customer requirements change.
• Support efficient and reliable production operations through effective planning and scheduling.
• Prepare planning reports, forecasts, schedules, and performance analyses.
• Use ERP/MRP systems to manage production planning and material requirements.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis, planning, reporting, and forecasting.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, inventory management, and production efficiency.
• Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to Junior Planners and other planning team members.
• Share best practices and support the professional development of planning personnel.
• Perform other planning and supply chain duties as assigned.
