SRX Global (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking qualified and technically capable candidates for the position of Technician I – Process in Malaysia. The successful candidates will monitor manufacturing processes, machines, line performance, and product quality while supporting production efficiency, yield improvement, process troubleshooting, equipment setup, and continuous improvement initiatives in an electronics manufacturing environment.

TECHNICIAN I – PROCESS

Qualifications:

  • SKM, STPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • Diploma in Process Technology or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in process monitoring or basic troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of electronics manufacturing and production processes is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SMT and related manufacturing processes is an advantage.
  • Able to monitor machines, production lines, process conditions, and quality performance.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to follow technical instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to identify process abnormalities.
  • Able to prepare accurate reports and communicate technical information clearly.
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and follow shift schedules.
  • Strong teamwork, responsibility, and willingness to learn.
  • Committed to following safety, EHS, security, quality, and company procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor machines, production lines, process performance, and product quality to ensure stable operations.
  • Monitor production output, process conditions, and key performance indicators during assigned shifts.
  • Identify and report abnormalities, process deviations, equipment issues, and quality concerns.
  • Troubleshoot SMT and process-related issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Support manufacturing processes including printing, component placement, reflow, wave soldering, washing, and related processes.
  • Assist with machine and equipment setup according to established process requirements.
  • Verify process parameters and ensure equipment is operating within approved specifications.
  • Support production efficiency, productivity, and yield improvement activities.
  • Assist Process Engineers in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
  • Support process optimization and improvement initiatives to improve quality and production performance.
  • Assist in identifying the causes of production defects, process problems, and recurring issues.
  • Support corrective and preventive actions related to process and production issues.
  • Provide technical assistance to production operators and other manufacturing personnel when required.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate daily shift reports, production records, and process documentation.
  • Communicate process conditions, machine issues, quality concerns, and shift activities to supervisors and engineers.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives within the production area.
  • Maintain machines, tools, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Follow established production, quality, safety, EHS (Environment, Health and Safety), and security procedures.
  • Properly handle production materials, equipment, and chemicals according to company requirements.
  • Perform other process, production, and technical duties assigned by management.
