Iririki Island Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Food & Beverage Manager to oversee its food and beverage operations in Vanuatu. The successful candidate will lead F&B teams, manage operational costs and budgets, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high standards of service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety.

SENIOR F&B MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager in a luxury hotel, resort, or standalone restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu development, inventory management, cost control, and banquet services.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, financial reporting, profitability analysis, and operational cost control.
• Strong leadership, team management, and employee development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety standards.
• Customer-focused with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service and product quality.
• Lead, motivate, and manage food and beverage teams to achieve operational and service standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop F&B employees.
• Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, creativity, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor inventory levels, control food and beverage costs, and minimize waste.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, food hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to develop innovative and seasonal menus that meet guest preferences and resort standards.
• Ensure food and beverage offerings consistently meet quality and presentation requirements.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond effectively to feedback, concerns, and complaints.
• Implement improvements to enhance the overall guest dining experience.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute banquets, functions, and special events.
• Work with the events team to develop customized food and beverage packages for different occasions.
• Prepare and manage F&B budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and operational plans.
• Analyze departmental performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Monitor sales, costs, revenue, and other key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote food and beverage outlets, events, and special offerings.
• Support promotional campaigns, events, and social media initiatives for the resort’s F&B operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of restaurants, bars, kitchens, storage areas, and other F&B facilities.
• Ensure all facilities comply with cleanliness, safety, service, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with other resort departments to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent guest service.
• Perform other management and operational duties as assigned.
